“Women Are Here Podcast” 

The friendship between Vice Mayor Mallon and I started on the campaign trail and has continued as we were both elected to serve our first terms on the Cambridge City Council. We wanted to engage with our constituents in new and innovative way so we started this podcast so our listeners could get to know us, and the City in a more intimate and friendly way. The title for our podcast comes from a poem that I read at the 2018 Women’s March by Eileen Myles:

“The woman turning, that’s the revolution. The room is gigantic, the woman is here.”

We hope that our podcast is not only a new way to keep residents informed, but will also give people a deeper understanding about what it’s like to be a woman elected official, and to take this journey with us. You’ll hear from us almost every week!
